Left fielder Ryan Ludwick slammed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the Dyersville
Jurassics defeated the California Gangsta Luv 9 to 5 at the
ballpark.
Ludwick really lit it up for Dyersville. The California fans let him have it
for what he did to their boys. He delivered a base-hit in the 2nd inning,
lost the ball over the fence for three runs in the 3rd inning and blasted a
solo shot (his 23rd of the season) in the 7th inning. Dyersville out-hit
California for the game, 14 hits to 8.
Felix Hernandez(5-10) got the win allowing 4 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings.
Hernandez got help from Robinson Tejeda who earned his 6th save. Josh
Johnson(4-4) was the losing pitcher. He got hit hard, allowing 9 hits and 2
walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
'I had good swings today,' Ludwick said, 'Everything felt right'.
